Taliban threatens Nobel laureate Malala

A POWERFUL breakaway faction of the Pakistani Taliban threatened teenage education activist Malala Yousafzai with "sharp and shiny knives", hours after she was declared joint winner of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.

JAMAAT ul Ahrar, which in August separated from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) also known as the Pakistani Taliban - posted its response to the win on Twitter late Saturday.

"Characters like Malala should know that we are not deterred by propaganda of [non-believers]. We have prepared sharp and shiny knives for the enemy of Islam," tweeted spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan.

"Malala speaks so much against guns and armed conflicts. Does she not know that the founder of her recent Nobel award was the inventor of explosives," the spokesman said.

Malala, a 17-year-old education activist, survived a gunshot wound to the head by a Taliban gunman in 2012.

The mainstream TTP, an umbrella organisation of over a dozen groups, has not commented on Malala's accolade.

Malala has received praise in Pakistan for becoming the youngest-ever Nobel Peace laureate, with all major newspapers running front page stories on her achievement.

What is "the left" you talk about?

Is it posters on this forum, a political party, a vague notion that means something to you?

Do you mean other posters?  It almost seems like that with accusations and challenges to other posters.

The answer to my question above is? Very important as it makes this thread redundant if the answer is NO.

'There are hundreds of bodies with their heads cut off... they put their heads on display to scare us': Survivors of Kobane massacre reveal the brutality of ISIS rampage in Syrian border town

  • Fighting continues to rage between Islamic State militants and Kurdish forces in besieged Syrian city of Kobane
  • Kurdish troops continue to fight jihadists with support of U.S. airstrikes despite being massively outgunned
  • Headless and mutilated corpses of Kurdish fighters are said litter the streets of the besieged Syrian border town
  • Kurds who have escaped to a refugee camp in the nearby Turkish town of Suruc tell of witnessing appalling horrors
  • Photographs by the Daily Mail's Jamie Wiseman show ongoing fighting between ISIS militants and Kurdish forces

Thirteen-year-old Dillyar cannot get the image of his cousin being beheaded out of his mind. The pair were fleeing Kobane and running down a street when Islamic State fighters blocked their exit.

Dillyar managed to slip through their grasp but his cousin Mohammed, 20, was seized, and gave a blood-curdling scream as one of the black-clad maniacs drew out a knife.

'They pushed him to the ground and sawed his head off, shouting 'Allahu Akbar',' the schoolboy told me yesterday. 'I see it in my dreams every night and every morning I wake up and remember everything.'

'My neighbour was beheaded because they said he was 'delivering vegetables to the kaffir'. They burned his farm, livestock, even his bees – they destroyed everything.'

This 'scorched earth' policy is being waged by jihadis whose most brutal members seem to be Europeans. 'They are Chechen, they are English, they are from all over Europe. We know because we can hear their accents,' said Mr Bakki.

Another man, Khalid, a teacher, claimed he had seen two fighters involved in the crushing of Kobane, and he had been told by a friend that the pair were boasting they were British.

The United Nations estimates there are still 700 civilians in Kobane, mainly elderly, and up to 13,000 in the surrounding areas under siege from Islamic State, who 'will most likely be massacred' if the town falls.

It's not that they support Isis Nero ,it's just that they can't bring the selfs to agree with anything you say.
At least that's the way I see it , as I'm not allowed to speak for them and if they do support for Isis then I shake my head in wonder

No one here supposrt IS kilroy.

But to be continually accused of supporting them simply because you can see the difference between a violent extremist group like IS and a normal Muslim trying to live their life like any other human being is just tiring.

And for the OP to continually link the 2 together is  simply appalling in the extreme. The irrationality of the posts is one of the reason no-one wants to engage in a propoer discussion with her.

I would agree with that and also some may actually support ISIS, you never know on here

You did say that kilroy. Not the OP's view though, see post before yours especially.

Posters are not required to agree with anything any other posters says. I have never seen NW post anything that I would agree with.

Usually spreads propaganda copied from other sites/blogs.

edit:

You did say this kilroy:

If they do support for Isis then I shake my head in wonder.
