Why not to pasturize- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tzx2dY6mW5A

In 1987 the FDA banned interstate shipping of raw milk and today it's retail sale is only legal in dozen or so states. There's a very devoted group who believe that pasteurized milk is "dead milk" and are fighting to make it easier to buy. Raw milk has such a following that people form secret clubs or buy portions of a cow in order to circumvent state laws regulating its sale.

In March of 2010, Idaho made things just a bit easier for producers of raw milk. A small-herd exemption was passed that allowed farmers with 7 or fewer goats or sheep and 3 or fewer cows to produce raw milk or raw milk products for human consumption.

You notice how Joanie always has an Alex Jones video to counter any intelligent argument contrary to her position?

A severe over reaction in my opinion.

sale of not pasteurised milk for human consumption has been banned in 1940s in Australia

Yes, but it was packaged so it looked like any other milk, and was kept in the fridge in the shop right next to all the other milks.  While some people would have bought it deliberately, others could have bought it by accident.  Does anybody read everything that is on labels of normal everyday food stuff?  I would not have a clue what is on the label of the milk I buy.

If I wanted to add some milk into my bath, I would not think it makes a difference if it is pasteurised or not, as pouring it into hot bath water would heat it up just as pasteurization does.  And considering that non pasteurised milk goes off rather faster than pasteurised I do not believe that there would be such a market for "bath milk" to justify stocking it.  Seems to me that calling it "bath milk" was just a way to get around the legislation.

Super

I said before that you can't legislate against stupidity.

You com cross as one reason w live in a nanny state because people like you need protecting from themselves
Or you think up all these stupid rules protecting people where as in the past Darwins theory of evolution took care of them.

If people cant or don read. Label, well, so be it.

Cleaning fluid isnt sold for human consumption but that doesnt stop people drinking it.

Cleaning fluid is not kept in food containers or stored in the fridge with the milk for human consumption either.

I do not think it is unreasonable that when you come to a food shop and go to a fridge with milk, and pull out a bottle of milk that you would expect to get a milk for human consumption.  Not everybody has 20/20 vision, there are people in the community who cannot read.

aps1080, do you really think that to bath in milk you need to go to the trouble of getting "raw" milk?  Carp, that milk was sold for people to drink, and the warning served only one purpose, to make sure the sellers cannot be sued.

What position?, i replied that I don't know one way or another. Am I not supposed to post links to videos I may find interesting?, or just not post it if it happends to have Alex Jones in it. Lets hear your rules on this since your implying that i've commeted some major crime here. I'm not countering anything, this is called a discussion, a running topic, and all replys are welcome as far as I'm concerned for or against the human consumption of raw milk.

I do a search, watch maybe 12 videos, choose 2 or 3 of the most insightfull to post that fits along the lines of the current discussion within the topic. The discussion was leaning tward the foods that were unhealthy, so I posted some helpfull information on GMOs, MSGs, aspertaine, and others, Personally, i don't see GMOs as all that bad, but some do so I include it into the conversation. You seem to have a wide on for me whatever that means, you came up with it so i assume you know. Why don't you tally up all of the Alex Jones videos I've posted on the spirit, compare them to all the non Alex jones videos and see wit has more.

I find Raw milk interesting, I've never tried it, I would if given the chance and other than that, I don't recomend or condem it as a helthy alternative, do your own research, make your own choice and please don't condem other's choices. Thank you

Not sure healthy is the right word. Raw milk has bugs in it or pathogens I think they call them. With society being so sensitive now to bugs because kids don't seem to be exposed to as many as older generations were, I wouldn't put it on the market unpasteurised.

Yes, I have drunk it, straight out of the cow but I have always had a constitution that some reckon would survive a Nuclear bomb !!!
