The Voice 2013

Can't find a thread so thought I would start one...

OMG.. Ricky Martin... Joel Madden... heaven in a show...

First song that they sing together (all 4 judges) and it was sensational...

The Voice 2013

Ok the Live Finals have started.

I'll be darned if I can figure out what Seal and Joel were thinking with their two choices to continue. JMO but I thought the 2 selected by Seal & Joel were the 2 worst performances of the night.

Is there a method in why they voted the way they did?

Are they instructed to vote the way they did?

Perhaps they ASSUME that the public will take care of the better performers. So Seal & Joel keep in the worst 2 performers in and 1 of the better performers gets thrown under the bus.

Makes perfect sense.......NOT

Perhaps I'm not a very good judge of performances and both Seal & Joel were absolutely right in the choices.

* shrugs *

I agree DDB.... She was brilliant... The fella he let through was on on opposite end of the scale to Kyomi and was dreadful.

As was that fella who mumbled his way through a Johnny Cash song. Alex I think his name is.

I'm glad it's only on once a week now. it was becoming a bit monotonous.

The Voice 2013

Luke Kennedy, what a voice and singing a John Farnham song. Is there any song he can't sing. have never watched this show before and never watch reality shows like the block and celebrity splash ( boring and stupid) but this one with Luke has really caught my eye. Hope he wins, he deserves to.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

Personally, I don't think he should.

This bloke has been classically trained.

He has had recording contracts and is an accomplished performer worldwide.

Luke Kennedy joined international touring group The Ten Tenors in 2008 and in two years performed on nearly every continent. One of his recordings is a DVD recording of Amigos Para Siempre: Live in Madrid in August 2009 with the RTVE Orchestra.

Based on his past accolades it would appear that any accomplished singer who has recording contracts can appear as a contestant on the Voice. Isn't the premise of the Voice to kick start a career for a NEW and talented singer?
