check out the prams outside the coffee shops?
I "nannied" for a Danish Diplomat for 6 months and each day, bub was tucked in her pram and put outside in the garden for 2 hours, morning and afternoon, while I attended to her clothing, food and bedroom cleaning. She could not be seen from where I was.........nor could her mother see her from her office or lounge room.
I was forever checking to make sure she hadn't frozen to death or been kidnapped..............and then was told not to as it might disturb her.

A very British thing to do in the past. And even when mine where babies I would put the pram outside, not at the front door but on the decking in the fresh air.
My mother once left the pram with me in it outside the bakers....it was several hours before she remembered me 😞

It used to be quite common in Australia too, most shops had no room for prams.

Would you put your baby or toddler outside in the freezing cold for their lunchtime nap? Most Nordic parents wouldn't give it a second thought. For them it's part of their daily routine.
Daytime temperatures this winter in Stockholm have regularly dropped to -5C (23F) but it's still common to see children left outside by their parents for a sleep in the pram.
- 5°C ???
I had to laugh at that. That's not cold
