nothing planned , as if I thought I could just wander in and say I want to go overseas , dont know where , but I want to leave in 3 weeks time

not going to happen X-(

so I will try and organize something for next year ..thing is I cant have holidays Dec , Jan

TS is not doing well enough at school for him to miss a couple of weeks this year

so looks like wotif , maybe a 3/4 day break somewhere in Vic

There are so many places you can go

Course you need somewhere that will keep TS entertained as well I guess. Nothing more painful than a bored teenager 😐

A travel agent should be able to organise something for you even with 3 weeks. Lots of really cheap deals to Bali right now. Not a long flying time either

it is a manual..boo..

but it is his car so I let that slide

I will go to collect it for him on Monday, or tuesday..

he is very chuffed

a really lovely Honda CRV..
I was not looking forward to the test drive..
you know, new/different car..manual..

but I was really really surprised at how good it was to drive

the 2nd one I test drove, which was a year younger, a lovely colour, but $3000 dearer was really horrible to drive, the clutch was so hard..
and it was making quite a lot of noise compared to the other, yet it was the top of the range with leather interior & everything ..

so I was happy with his decision
