Hope the sickies are better. I still don't have my voice after 2 weeks... rotten flu... it's slowing me down! 😞

I reckon another week and we shall have this place whipped into shape. I just cant do as much unpacking as in the past.  But we are getting there. You should see the "library" now. The shelves are filling up.

Hello BD Hotties! I'm back on deck after my short holiday. I'm with Beani, hoping those of you my friends who are unwell or feeling down, are on the improve very soon.

Broome was wonderful - great times with my bro & his family. The children are gorgeous. But the weather - 36° and 67% humidity is something one can only handle if one is made of stern stuff! That said, our acommodation was 1st class & the aircon was fab. On a funny note, when I collected our hire car the lady said they had upgraded us - & my eyes were disbelieving when I saw it. A bright blue commodore with spoiler!! Lordy, what a "Look At Me" car, in amongst all the neutral coloured 4wd's of Broome.... ha ha.... well it was a treat to drive....

But here's the thing, I have a THING about the colour BLUE, much of the time I can't stand it in any way, shape or form. There are only a small number of exceptions to this.  So I stood under a tree, & had to calm my heart beat & blood pressure before I braved to touch the BLUE car...

Yes, I am pathetic, I KNOW!! Good thing it was so nice to drive, or else I would simply have HAD to change it for something else...

Oh dear LTS do I dare tell you that my house if FULL of BLUE? I am very nautical around here, he he he. I am glad to hear that you had a nice holiday though 🙂

As to phobias I have an appointment on the 29th because I have a couple that the doc thinks I need help with. I have a couple that are affecting my ability to do certain things so I must deal with it, ho hum. Phobia's are not pleasant are they?

Buddy and I cooked a nice meal tonight. She did a fab onion sauce, a white one, but mostly  made from the water the veggies were cooked in, with only a little bit of skim milk and so, not so rich. It was yummy and went with everything really nicely.

I am thankful for the VIC weather we are having up here. Its quite cool and lovely.  Just nice for mckool to take the pooch for a toddle. She loves the back yard here so much I couldnt get her to come inside all day 🙂

Hope you are having a good day. I still have the flu but I think I have turned a corner, so here is hoping. I still cant talk or sing and somehow when you lose your voice, you want to sing all the time 🙂  LOL

Beani what rotten luck to have the flu after all the hassle of moving and finding a new home and setting up again. Still it will pass and I hope it goes away quickly for you
