At the moment we have lost tourists from China , Italy , South Korea and Iran

so would it be possible to attract tourists from countries not yet seriously afflicted

Please don't encourage it. IMO now is the time to set serious restrictions on all international travel. I understand that some international travel could possibly be considered essential or necessary for some people, but until such time as effective quarantine measures are implemented at all border points then I hope that no one is considering the possibility of attracting tourists from anywhere, be it internationally or even interstate.

Surrounded by water as we are, Australia is one of the lucky countries as long as we meticulously protect our borders.

If international travel is to happen then we need to implement serious quarantine measures upon all who arrive and re enter our Country.

WHO has declared it a pandemic.

Why would I as a tourist from a non afflicted country - choose to travel to an afflicted country.

112 confirmed cases - 3 deaths - in Australia.

Never corner a rat - best if the door is kept a little open , i was taliking about very wealthy tourists , 5 star quaratine , ocean vista , surf, sand and sunshine - then a minimum 3 month stay in Australlia ,  better alternative to waiting out the plague staring at the walls and howling on the balcony at night
