Fidel was the first of the 'monsters' that I made.

And was soon joined by Ken, who insisted on having his name written on his pants (I think he got the idea from Calvin Klein ).

Perhaps Fidel's name has been shortened from "Fidelity".

He put it to one side for the photo shoot.

As he says, "I'm a stuffed toy, I'm a cute stuffed toy. A cute stuffed toy that smokes creates a very mixed message for children. If they want to smoke, let them wait until they're adults and can make the choice for themselves. I may be a monster, but I'm not the kind of monster who is a bad influence on the young".
