Whilst I agree with the sentiment that it is not a lie if you genuinly believe it, he has shown himself not to believe his own lies - recall his apology to Indonesia?
That means he lies in order to fool people.

DY, a speculation can not be a "fib" until the speculative event, or time, has occurred, unless of course you wish to write a daily Cycloptic thread, and are prepared to overlook in general terms, English grammar!

Thus it is impossible to claim now that Abbott is "fibbing"

so power prices will drop ? it doesn't take a PM to know thats a false claim, especially as he has no say in electricity pricing.
