There could be files on as many as 500,000 Australians with files at ASIO
It's Gary Foleys turn. I saw him at a funeral in Nambucca this week (Aden Ridgeway's mum died). I was not talking
to him but a mutual friend who was said that he said this weeks show will be a real eye opener...
last week was a doozy as well. The womans voice on the overdub explaianing the notes of the archived footage....as
nothing short of creepy

should put up decorations for the Queen's visit.''

Its the way of the modern world, any one who makes political comments about anything should expect to have a file.

There's probably files on some of us on here. After the spying done by Labor on wives of presidents nothing should surprise.

I lived in Canberra through the late 1960's to 1970's.............. I was involved in protests, it would not be a stretch to think we were checked on by ASIO. There were quite a few townhouses in Kinston that were regularly seached.
My friend who worked for ASIO had her house searched once because a file was misplaced.

So now that the "good guys" are in power, all this spying should stop, right?

Spying never stops, it's as old as the hills. They had spies way back in history. There is always some reason to spy on people.
ASIO isn't the only spy orgainisation in Australia, that they have come out of the woodwork simply means they are too well known to stay hidden any longer.
We are all known by our Medicare card number, we are filmed every time we walk down the street or into a shop. Our tax numbers, drivers licences are all on file. Don't kid yourselve, Big Brother is a very healthy organisation, whatever they call themselves nowadays.
