we have the worst partisan media in the world , it isn't made up of journalists at all but apologists of the right working for murdoch.. media domination is not democratic, its authoritarian.. given as we have no genuine choice, and live according to the short term attention spans of the politicially ignorant swinging voters .

As for: "the politicially ignorant swinging voters ." I would disagree, the 40% & 40% of Myopians who always vote for ***, or I would never vote for ###, are the ignorant voters, at least the swinging voter will possibly consider the ramifications of supporting either *** or ###.

I can not argue that there is no media bias LL (even the Courier Mail), but can not agree with this: "i'm not shooting messengers either". You have been doing that for ages, perhaps because the message is unpalatable.

Partisan goes with politics, this thread is a good example, the 1st link is from an ALP associated writer, and the 2nd, from FN,  would give you a warm glow, read the archives.

However, you are "balanced" (a little) by NW, and you both have assorted satellites  (*** & ###) which always have a predictable orbit.
