I was walking our Jack Russell, Monty, today when he decided to make a quick pit stop. Up went the hind leg and the next minute the round bush he was aiming for erupted out of the underbush, hissing, spitting and showing plenty of claws.
Apparently he had found a spot where a well camoflaged cat was having a nap.
He jumped up on me and after a lot more hissing and spitting the cat dropped on the grass and rolled over to get rid of the odour and wet.
I was laughing so much it hurt.
Poor puss, wet fur and injured pride into the bargain.
We turned around and promptly came home.
