Thermo cookers - advice please

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have one of these Thermo cookers?  Mutil function cooker 10 functions in 1 compact unit?  It is an electrical appliance.  Apparently it cooks, grinds, melts, steams, kneads, mixes, whips etc  Talking about the regular versions here not the top end.

Would love to know if you have one or know about them and if they are as good as they say.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

There are nine of us here at the moment, 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 under 5, cooking is a breeze when you have appliances that can do it fast and without too much mess. I have decided that I never want to learn how to use the barbecue - not my department, a bit like changing a tyre 🙂

Only a joke - it's how I refer to him at home when he has done something to displease me. I also refer constantly to running away to the south of France with the pool boy (we have neither pool nor pool boy).

My (first) husband to whom I have been married for over 20 years, is not offended by any of this. He says that he can overlook having a pool boy when we have no pool, but the least the b...... could do is mow the lawn occassionally.

That would be a step too far - it's taken me 20 years to get him this far, and nobody else is going to reap the benefits! Also, I no longer have the energy or inclination to go through it all again.

He is also quite tolerant of my (adorable) shortcomings.

One other thing, I really am quite fond of him......

When I refer to b-b-qing, I really mean making a salad and drinking wine/champagne/anything cold while my (first) husband gets in touch with his inner cavemen by cooking or smoking huge amounts of meat/chicken/seafood.

He is overtly proud of his marinades and smoking recipes, and I do my best to support him in his endeavours to impress me and family and friends with how clever he is... real men cook outside.

A friend of mine call his wife "the next ex".

It's been mentioned already, but capacity is important...you don't want to have to cook twice if you can't fit it all in.
