And it's supposed to hit about 3 metres around 8ish this even so I'm off to see if I can catch myself a nice barra or maybe a decent mangrove jack or two.

Way the fishing has been going for me of late I'd be happy just to catch a bait prawn or three about now, but never give up is the motto 😛

Anyone else out fishing this evening?

 too cold here moorna, I went fishing though a couple of weeks ago   plenty of bites though.

all I ended up with is got sunburnt and no fish :^O

goodluck! I never catch anything off the beach, need to be in the boat to have a chance......but the boat always leaves too early for me :^O

:^O:^O:^O Didn't end up catching one single barra, but TWO!!!!!! :^O:^O:^O

One small one at 79cm and one nice bugger coming in at 96cm, plus a couple of reasonable keeper sized bream and one 62cm mangrove jack, my favorite eating fish of all.

Had a few other throw back jobs of various kinds plus a couple of large stinking catfish on strips of mullet on two other rods

Sorry, no photos as I didn't take my phone with me as I often do because I wanted some 'Time out' away from everything for a little while. Just me and my best little mate, my dog.

At the start I thought I'd never catch any live bait in the cast net but finally manged to catch eleven nice bait sized mullet after 15-20 minutes hard work.

I just finished up filleting and bagging my catch for the freezer so I can enjoy it all after I get back home tomorrow as I'm still in the caravan after deciding to stay the night away in one of my hideaway spots instead of heading straight home again after today's market.
