He is doing the best he can to clean up the mess left for him.
I think you are confusing this statement with one by Oscar Wilde......"Americans are so careless. They make a mess and leave it for another nation to clean up".

DY: "Karen, Abbott has achieved success in stopping the CARS, maybe boats is next on the list?"
It appears that pink myopia also induces memory loss, when it is convenient, so let me refresh a few selective memories: Mitsubish, Ford, now when exactly did they announce they were closing down operations in Australia?
I think the spell was cast when Poor Me Gillard announced prior to the last election that: "Holden will be here in Australia producing cars for at least the next 10 years", and we all know the reliability of Poor Me's pre-election utterances.

Let's add to abbott's list of non-achievements with the quashing of the ACT Same-Sex marriage legislation, setting his well-resourced legal attack-dogs onto the ACT via the High Court, much like kevin andrews did with the NT euthanasia legislation.
More regressive and interfering decisions from the man/party without an original thought of their own. Pathetic.
I listened to abbott on the radio this morning - about the Holden announcement. Apart from the trouble he experienced actually stringing together any fluent & cohesive sentences (par for the course), he took the opportunity to .... expound on his Government's response to this ? No. Look at a way forward for the industry and the people ? No. Have a bash at his predecessors using well-worn mantras and cliches ? ... Why yes, that's what he did.
Still waiting for a libby acolyte/apologist to come up with something positive ..... anything please ..... as the 100th day of this insufferable buffoon's "reign" approaches.

I voted Liberal for my own personal reasons and I am extremely happy with my choice. I dont need to, nor can i bothered to justify it to you lot
No-one's asking you to justify your voting choice daydream**believer (well I hope they're not), and I'm happy that you are happy with your choice. I think the point is more about the achievements of the new Government ...

What makes you particularly happy about your choice daydream? I think to simply come in and say you are happy it is fair to give a reason, there must be something? One thing you can cound on from me is to give credit where it is due, there is one topic I can think of that I agree with abbott's views however he is too weak or gutless so far to make changes.
