Lot of people I knew back in sixties and seventies had abortions; NONE of them would agree that it was the 'easy' way out.  Abortion is the easy way out only for men, women carry that burden (guilt, regret .... what ever) for the rest of their lives.

I am refering to now not 5 decades ago. And I used the word SOME...as that is what some do rather than take the proper precautions. It is a personal thing and my views have changed over the years on the subject as I'm sure others have experienced.

I would say that SOME men feel guilt and even loss. They often have no say in the matter.

its up to the woman because it is HER body, HER life that unplanned pregnancies are going to impact.

Of course men should do the responsible thing and restrain their sperm but the reality is that obviously that is not happening so women need to be proactive and protect themselves, be in charge of their fate, for want of a better word, and not just let life happen to them.
