A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.
Solved! Go to Solution.

No, those posted with verifiable quotes are reliable and those posted with fabricated quotes are not.

I asked this question several months ago, and stressed it was a serious question which I wanted the right here to answer. So far, nobody has said a word in answer. They must have an opinion on it, but why are they so scared to voice it?
Your'e just not paying attention.
His popularity has gone down to a vindictive biased media.
There have been plenty of articles on this thread covering that very topic.
I don't hold that view. Abbott has only himself to blame for his woes, I could find plenty of articles from reliable sources to support that view also.
He has never been a popular PM,, there is more than popularity at stake as far as he is concerned.

Like this?
Factual, variable and a blatant lie.

There are plenty of mainstream media articles (including The Australian) that suggests there is a good prospect of that happening. Also inside the Liberal Party.
It will be official the day he is dumped.
We have been ordered to give our 'own' opinions here, that is my opinion (Abbott will be dumped as PM, sooner rather than later). I didn't need to copy some unknowns facebook post to show my own opinion.
The reason is lack of support from inside his party, and the people of Australia.

He seemed to be of the opinion that if he played friends with a few journos all journos would repay the favour and play friends with him.
They gave hime an easy ride to the lodge instead of asking the hard questions and pulling him up for his lies, and still do to an extent. He walks out on press conferences when they start to ask questions, he back chats instead of answering and wonders now why they are starting to report his true colours.

The ones I post are ORIGINAL, drawn by Australian cartoonists, employed by newspapers. Not someone or other! They are rather clever actually, many of the cartoonists are award winners.
Compare that to:
I have seen plenty of captioned images on CS, that have a photo of scenery (US, poor countries) lifted from the net, a US Tea Party slogan slapped on them, which is then adapted to Australia political scene.... those are MADE UP. Not a gram of originality in them.

Yes, that backfired for both the media & now Abbott.
He just avoids the media now, slips out the back door... like he did at the opening recently of the medical facility.

But am3, you took a gamble a fortnight ago or so and stated the he would be gone by the following Wednesday and quoted a plethora of mainstream media articles to support your claim and the mainstream media that you put so much trust in let you down.
Does that not make you doubt the validity of what the mainstream media are so shrill about?
And here you are again gambling in their word being gospel

I didn't say which Wednesday
Every media outlet is predicting Abbott will be dumped, not just perceived 'leftie' ones.
Backbenchers and Liberal MP's are speaking out about the PM.
I think the media are right on the button.... there are a lot of political journalists who have been in the job for very long time, they know whats what.

But am3, you are just getting all this goobligook from the media who are trying to create a story. Krudd and JOOLYA!! were sucked in by it and so is the majority of the Lefties who can be fed any bovine output and they relish it with gusto .
Perhaps your 'Wednesday' statement was a typo
