The fighter jet of my enemy's friend is....
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-11-24/turkey-shoots-down-jet-near-syrian-border/6970776
As the story evolves, it's only going to become more and more labyrinthine.

One would hope so, but the whole thing is such a godawful mess it's hard to know who is supporting whom. any longer.

This has been posted on another earlier thread:
Are you confused by what is going on in the Middle East? We support the Iraqi government in the fight against ISIS. We don’t like ISIS, but ISIS is supported by Saudi Arabia who we do like.
We don’t like Assad in Syria. We support the fight against him, but ISIS is also fighting against him. We don’t like Iran, but Iran supports the Iraqi government in its fight against ISIS.
So some of our friends support our enemies, some enemies are now our friends, and some of our enemies are fighting against our other enemies, who we want to lose, but we don’t want our enemies who are fighting our enemies to win.
If the people we want to defeat are defeated, they could be replaced by people we like even less. And all this was started by us invading a country to drive out terrorists who were not actually there until we went in to drive them out. It's quite simple, really.
Do you understand now?

Yep, it's all as clear as mud. How could I possibly have been confused. Thanks Tezza. or should that be
?

No, Kopes...things don't really add up. 10 warnings in five minutes, when the jet could not have been in Turkish airspace for more than eight seconds, if at all. Ethnically, the border Syrians are Turks. Turkey is becoming less moderate, and might feel that Syrian oil, and a little bit more land might be nice here. The jet, would have been bombing those Turkey feels are Turks. Not Syrians.
Putin has called this a stab in the back. Turkey, will have known (as we all do) the purpose of the flight. At this point I can't blame Putin for being aggrieved.
Right now, I am genuinely concerned this will broaden.

Why are you concerned?I mean I warned here almost 6 years ago.I know it was a big joke and I was entitled to the hurtful and hateful remarks. But I still told you it was coming.
