UNION CRIMINALS

A POLICE taskforce will be unleashed on rogue unions including the CFMEU in an unprecedented strike ...

Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Premier Denis Napthine will today reveal the establishment of a joint police taskforce to focus on union officials and others engaged in blackmail, cartel behaviour, extortion, boycotts, kickbacks and intimidation.

The Herald Sun can reveal the taskforce of about 30 Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police officers will pursue criminal activities uncovered by the royal commission into trade union corruption.

It will focus on unions but will also pursue corrupt employers, debt collectors and mediators.

People who work as “mediators” in the building industry, such as underworld figure Mick Gatto, an associate of CFMEU state secretary John Setka, are likely to be pursued.

UNION CRIMINALS

if Bill Shorten was legally obliged to speak he would. these taxpayer funded idealogical witchunts using taxpayers money to weaken unions so they can drive wages down have been a marked failure . Former PM Gillard in reality came out shining like a new pin , a fact some have trouble accepting . they now wonder just how much they have been lied to ,

So interesting to see....

So many of them, all saying much the same thing.

this is interesting nero,

http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/lawyer-harry-nowicki-denies-allegations-from-b...

Melbourne lawyer Harry Nowicki has angrily dismissed the claims of former union boss Bruce Wilson that Mr Nowicki offered him money in return for implicating Julia Gillard in the Australian Workers Union corruption scandal.

In a statement he prepared to the Royal Commission into trade union governance and corruption, Mr Wilson has alleged that he was offered $200,000 and other inducements if he fabricated a statement about who used stolen funds to pay for renovations to former prime minister Julia Gillard’s then home in an inner city Melbourne suburb.

UNION CRIMINALS

When a union is the subject of allegations, Abbott and his henchmen shout them from the rooftops.

When corporate Australia is accused of crimes or rorts, Liberal laryngitis is the disease du jour.

Inconvenient facts keep mucking up the trade union royal commission’s anti-CFMEU storyline.

Tony Abbott’s royal commission tried to build five anti-CFMEU narratives in four days of explosive hearings in Sydney and Melbourne but the foundations were crumbling within hours.

Real-world events, beyond the reach of commission rules and practice directions, challenged the credibility of two key witnesses while the evidence of a third was flatly rejected by fellow employers.

Wall-to-wall media coverage greeted Boral CEO Mike Kane’s call for Australia to enact a US-style union-busting regime.

The Commission had invited the American millionaire to broadcast his demands for sweeping law changes from its Melbourne hearings.

mmm...desperate is the ongoing attempt by the far right to smear our Trade Unions and our former PM with unfounded claims by dodgy, sneaky types who seem to indulge in lying for a living. Just like the abbott hero jackson.
