Vacuum Cleaners?

My two dyson uprights have decided to die with in week apart.   Id like to buy two new dysons or miele, With one for upstairs and one for down, But really don't know if i should buy the dc 41 animal upright or buy a miele. The current dysons are 10yrs old and have had a very hard life. Any opinions will be taken on board. Cat Happy

They do ... to varying degrees ...

However the stick vacuum is light and rechargeable so no need to get out the cumbersome vac ... much more conducive to a quick whip around

I've had my Miele for 20 years, but it wasn't doing a great job with the fur from our fluffy cat, so we bought a new Miele with a turbo head, It's fantastic, I'm happy with it.

I've kept the old one as well, it still works well apart from picking up the fur
