bay trees like a humid climate.
in sidney they will grow like mad in SA they will not grow at all, just stay as they are or even die if you do don't water them well and put them into the shade in summer.

I was speaking with my next door neighbour this morning and he said for the first time ever his mango will not have any fruit this season. He said that there have not been any bees around here this year. When I thought about it, he is right. How do we get the bees back for next year?

Thanks love today, I must admit that I haven't given it a thought until he mentioned it. Since your post I have googled it and you are right. I only use animal manure or seaweed solution so hope that I am not contributing to it. We are on the mid north coast of NSW.
