The Voice Of Reason 1 hr ยท New Bedford, MA, United States ยท ~B Science and Medicine keeps progressing, curing more diseases and saving more lives every day. Prayer is still doing what it has been doing for thousands of years...NOTHING...but some will say THANK GOD when a Doctor saves their child's life or even their own. That's because according to their belief their God is responsible for EVERYTHING, and its all part of his plan they are taught in church to NEVER QUESTION. It's funny though, when some disaster strikes killing masses of people I never hear the religious say...THANK GOD, or when a loved one gets killed in an accident I never hear them say...THANK GOD, and when they are on their deathbed begging their God to let them live they still die anyway, and their family members gathered never say...Thank God...they cry. I'm wrong about many things in life, but what I see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears year after year with so many religious peoples behavior when it comes to overlooking everything their God NEVER DOES and just thank him for what people do to make a differance in their life and even save their life I can say that this God of theirs they give credit to and are too afraid to blame for fear of being punished is nonexistant in the obvious, contradictory to their own spoken words of God being responsible for Everything. I never wish anything bad on anyone, and I get emotional when I hear about something horrible happening to children being abducted, raped, beaten, and starve to death, but I always think about what would happen to any religious parents of one of these children, and how they would feel and respond to someone else religious saying to them when their child is in any of those situations....."Thank God " Why would that seem like a cruel thing to say to parents? well? Religious people only pick certain things that go GOOD...and when people are resonsible for making happen to thank their God For...another inconsistancy when they praise god for EVERYTHING while relying on people to resolve their problems. And before you use the excuse of "well god puts people in your life like doctors for a reason", then explain the murderers and rapists that come into peoples lives. Oh, you don't like this aspect of your thinking and belief do you, and now suddenly god DOESN'T put people in your life for a reason. This reeks of more than just hypocrisy, and crosses the border into insanity. That's perfectly fine if you choose to be insane, however to condemn others that choose not to join you in your pink cloud of delusion is more than just wrong, it's almost criminal.
