I recently stumbled across WORDLE online. For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.
https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/
This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:
Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though). Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words. I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts. Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!
I don't have set starters, I am a free spirit who chooses words that are relevant to the moment.
I almost fell out of bed when I got this in 2, mostly because of my reason for choosing the word in line 2.

I did it on my phone yesterday but I can't even remember how many turns it took. Must have been 3 or 4, that is my usual.
I would remember if it had been something amazing like two or if it had gone to the wire.

The words flowed nicely in this, at least for a while. 😀. Didn't even have to ponder much.
I ran out of momentum though at turn 8 and used an eliminator which gave enough hint to solve #8.
Have to admit, in the past I would never have got this word but it has been out a few times now so is an old friend.
Then I made a mistake on #4, tried wiper instead of piper.

I bombed out with the final word; it was a logical but wrong guess.

Ha! I thought I might be first on today but you trumped me, as you were up in the wee hours. Hope you are okay. I am currently in the habit of going to bed super early, really tired out, then waking up just after 4am. I guess I have had my 7 hours or so, so can't complain.

Today I almost recklessly had a guess at turn 2 but then I thought no, and I am glad I did follow the usual course as the second turn solved it and it was nothing like my guess would have been.

I found this slower going than yesterday's.
On turn 4, I felt I had a reasonable chance at #2 but it was wrong.
I then thought-you're kidding me, what else could it be? Then saw there were a couple of possibilities so left it.
By turn 8, I had again run out of oomph and used an eliminator
It solved #2 & 6 anyway.
Took a while till #4 clicked. Not sure why. It is a regular. There weren't that many letters left by then so eventually it sank in.
