WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

As you can see, I was not off to a good start.

After my second turn, I thought it was probably out of 2 words & I went with the one I thought might be trickiest.

Honestly, it is just as well I can't read bot's comments till after I have finished as it would be awfully daunting. Turns out that after my first guess, there were still over 300 possible words & even after the second turn, he had 4 in mind. Actually, after he listed the 4, I thought there should have been another one there. It is strange sometimes the words Bot allows and those he doesn't. Perhaps it was too archaic.

Bot told me it was between trust, crust, wurst and burst. Which made me think-what about curst? I had only thought of crust and trust to start with.
Strangely, Bot told me that trust was what he thought was the best to guess on turn 3 in the circumstances. I would have thought crust as it at least brought in a different letter. And if he had allowed curst, could have been a heads up on guess 4.

I tried different starters, some old ones. Ocean/flirt. But I needed another eliminator at turn 4. I did make one wrong guess for word 4 but otherwise straight forward enough.

Bot claims he would have got this in 3 but I had a look at his guesses & even if I had followed his first 2 moves exactly, I would still have taken 4 moves as there was nothing to rule out the word I  went with on my 4th turn.

I got through it but not with flying colours. 😄

On #6, I thought we had a repeat of today's wordle choices but I had things the wrong way round. I don't actually care for the word that was the answer. It pops up on these puzzles from time to time though.
