WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I actually didn't expect to get #8 right, but it was all I could think of and nothing else looked clear cut for my 3rd turn. Looking at it now, I should probably have guessed our old friend wooer a lot earlier but at the start, I was stumped, but did expect an R at the end.
So I used an eliminator (pricy) for my 4th turn and after that, things jumped from word to word okay but the damage was done.
Under 60 though, I tell myself!

I had almost tried “cramp” instead of using an eliminator, which would have been a mistake. Luckily “pings” sorted out the first two solutions, and from there the next two followed nicely.

Savor left a bad taste in my mouth.

When I was doing this, I was thinking that sometimes less is more. As in, had to had 4 yellows, hout, it might have been harder as I would have had to contend with tough, mouth, youth.
But with hou, the first thing to pop into my mind was rough so i tried it. I thought either rough or cough.
Looking at it now though, my blood runs cold as I can see plenty of other things it could have been.
I was just extremely lucky.

I started off okay with #5 handed to me on a platter.

But soon afterwards, I was looking at #3, trying the U in second place and all I could come up with was rumen. It seemed like their sort of word too, for extreme, so I was disappointed when it was wrong.
I also jumped confidently on mocha for #6 & that was wrong too.
Should have at least solved #3 before trying it as the answer was clear by then.
As well, at least I got through but it wasa close run thing.
