WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

Not too bad today. I am satisfied I couldn't have started solving any sooner than turn 3.
I left #4 till last as I suspected the answer was super but it could have been surer and I was hoping one of the other words might me help out, which is what happpened.

Straight after my second turn, I looked at #4 and thought surely not that same word, how cheeky!

Then I thought-surely not, it may be that I am having tunnel vision and only seeing one possibility when they  are a lot of others, so I left it.

Despite the score indicating otherwise, I found this one easier than the classic (or I was faster at it, anyway, but with me, fast does not always equal accurate)
I was pleased though to solve #7 when I did as I was fancying allow for #1, had not thought of alloy.
I did need another eliminator at the end for #8. I was dithering with brave/brace/crave/craze/braze(which I thought unlikely but it is more unusual so could meet the brief). I really wanted to test bcv and all I could come up with was vocab. I wasn't sure if it would be allowable, but as you can see, they passed it!)

I did it on phone yesterday when child minding and it took me 4 too, and was going to octordle when I got home but that wasn't till about 6pm after a very early start and I just crashed after that. In bed by about 7.30.

It is messing my whole system up though as I was wide awake by 4am today.

Anyway, I have wordled this morning on the computer.

I was almost inclined to pick a different eliminator for second spot as I didn't expect any other vowels. Today I was lucky I stuck to habit though I did use spout instead of shout.
At first all I could think of was cameo but that doesn't work so had to rethink & I figured an O start was most likely.

I was going along quite nicely for a while, then I struck a little hump along the way.

After solving retro (and how many more times must we see that word pop up again!!), I was at a bit of a loss & was going to use another eliminator but I looked at #3 and thought-crack perhaps? Worth a try.
It was wrong but I was pleased with how helpful it was elsewhere!
I had been at a particular loss with #5, as I was thinking sully, sulky? But they couldn't be as Y had already been out.
