this what happenes when you get involved with wars you shouldnt be involved in

the men and women we send are trained killers not doctors and nurses, their job is killing, and they are not trained to think before pulling the trigger.

its see a target, shoot the target.

and a dead target is a safe target.

man, woman, child, guilty or innocent, doesnt matter

we are suposed to be the 'good guys'

all australians should be ashamed these men are acting in our name on foreign soil and be demanding our leaders explain why they should not be held personally responsible!

if not for our PM we would not be there!

No, this  is   what  happens  with ANY war.

Naive to think otherwise.

People who love to kill  and under the guise of doing it for their country.

There were some nasty things happening in Vietnam at the hands of Australians too. This is not new, but to cover it up and then send your dogs to shut the press up is not how real democracies work.
This goverment is hell bent in shutting down anyone that they see as a threat - whistleblowers, journalists and the ABC.

And on the other side of the coin there is one country in the world that annually welcomes to its shores a mob of foreigners come to commemorate their fellow countrymen who died trying to invade it

"Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives ... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours ... You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."

These words are attributed to Kemal Ataturk in a speech he is said to have delivered on ANZAC Day  in 1934. There is some debate now  over whether he really did speak them, but he quite definitely did say on various occasions

"The landing at Gallipoli on April 25, 1915, and the fighting which took place on the peninsula will never be forgotten. They showed to the world the heroism of all those who shed their blood there. How heartrending for their nations were the losses that this struggle caused.โ€

Also  โ€œWhatever views we of the present or future generations of Turks may hold in regard to the rights or wrong of the world war, we shall never feel less respect for the men of Anzac and their deeds when battling against our armies โ€ฆ They were nearer to achieving the seemingly impossible than anyone on the other side yet realises.โ€

And โ€œThe Turks will always pay our tribute on the soil where the majority of your dead sleep on the windswept wastes of Gallipoli.โ€

That doesn't sound to me like money speaking.

That's true t g s E.
That wasn't money talking but you can't dispute that there's bucket loads of money made now by letting Aussies on their soil to commemorate ANZAC day

You will get a more honest response from a former Defence Force Chief than the current one.

He has no long got his neck on the chopping block where he could lose his job if he does not toe the government line.
