Warren Brown's cartoon in yesterdays telegraph December 2 page 27....anybody see it? IMO extremely poor taste
The young bloke that got bitten by the shark and died had extensive coverage of the attack and of his memorial service at Port Macquarie in the first pages and there was a note that there was an editorial on page 26.
The editorial howver on page 26 was only 6 lines.
On page 27 however there was a large cartoon depicting a beach scene on one side with a sharks head popping up
out of the water and on the other side was a bushfire/bunrt trees type scene.
In the middle was a sign with a needle that was supposed to look like the bushfire rating sign but rather than having bushfire ratings on one side was the word bushfire and on the other (the beach side) were the words shark attack.
The "needle" was leaning towards the shark attack side....
I failed to find any humour nor social message in it at all.. what does everybody else think???
I could not find it on the net anywhere otherwise I would have put it up
