A beautiful area, and a great drive in the dry - with quite a few waterfalls even then.

But very dangerous in the wet.

Brown mountain landslide today

They look like they're deliberately placed there

There was a video today of them blowing up one of the rocks to clear the road.

So lucky that that part of the road was empty when those boulders landed
