I'd say the 2nd and 4th are definitely photoshopped. Not sure about the third one, it might really be that colour. I have seen multicoloured roses where they split the stem of a cut rose and put each part of the stem in different coloured food dyed water. Next time I see some white roses I might knock a few off and try it A bud on my newly planted aussie frangipani has opened. I was surprised to find it smells just like a frangipani 😄 for some reason I wasn't expecting that

As a kid this was my favourite flower.............we would pick them and blow on them...........and how many times you blew on them to remove all the thingies was what time it was suppose to be.

yes either that or sprayed with something.. to give it that affect

 

im yet to hear about a genuine black rose

 

i saw these on FB, and it caught my eye

was an easy C/P too!

 

 

my native flangipani is mature and putting on a show

 

 

i cut a whole branch off, if pruning is needed and put it inside

I reckon a black rose is akin to a lavender chook.

 

I didn't even know we had australian frangipanis, then Lal-au told me I should plant them, and my sister came to and said the same thing, and bought me one.

I don't have a good track record with growing stuff.

I still have a qld bottle tree in a pot, had it for about 5 years and can't decide where to put it.

i thought they have great fragrance, but i don't have another frangipani type on the property to compare

 

the house smells great :robotvery-happy

 

 

this partictular tree was already here, i look forward to it, this time of year

 

 

i'll take a pic though.. i was sorta busy doing yard work
