Band, I have no idea now (you are more than likely correct) just somewhere we stopped to have a quick look when driving the Pacific Coast Hwy Drive. It was somewhere we stopped to have a quick look and I am a shocker for not writing down where I have taken a picture so some of them I know the general area but forget the finer details IYKWIM. Taken 12 Aug 2012 at 4.14 pm to be exact. Didn't stop in Santa Cruz.
Here's another lighthouse taken a few years earlier in 2006, Pemaquid Point, Maine, I was on a bit of a mission to try and take photo's of Lighthouses, was late in the day, ground extremely wet so photo's not all that flash.

If so, what are the odds of two photos of the same subject in California being posted on an Australian board?
I will answer this on the other photo discussion thread so as not to hijack this thread.

I took this in the San Diego, California harbor as we sailed out to sea.
The first photo has been heavily tweaked by me in Photoshop by use of layers, blending options, dodge and burn, cloning, color channels, etc.
The second photo is the same photo but unfixed.
And the raw unfixed photo.
