ok sorry green grey cat for my outburst. I blame sleep deprivation but its no excuse. Sorry.
The giraffe wasnt all that close I was using a big lens. It was a few metres away
This is more of a group shot before I zoomed in

Valid or invalid I dont really care what you think, want to properties of the pic so you will see its a true pic?
Not sure if I should be insulted you think Im cheating for what ever reason or chuffed my photo is that good, it looks like its not taken through a window.
Just in case anyone is interested in going, you can get of the bus at Monarto and I'd recommend doing so. Best thing is to time the bus with the keeper talks, these are fantastic and give you the opportunity to get close to the animals or view some spectacular behaviour.
I remember being on the giraffe viewing platform on one trip and feeding them, very cool.
Oh and a tip, avoid school & public holidays if possible.

yep, sure was there, loved every second of it.
I was there on school holidays 😄 Its my job Got paid to sit in a bus, taking photos with 45 kids
We had our own bus and a tour guide. Didnt use their buses and were not allowed off, our tour didnt include the platform but thats ok the giraffes were at the buses anyway
