I like the kookaburra photos. I hear them around here sometimes, but never get that close to one.

Am, we couldn't believe it when the Kookaburra came onto the deck.
Took on the resident magpie for the tiny bit of mince in the saucer. Kooka won, and then declared victory by dumping his tail on the prize.
The magpie was still on the chair, just out of shot.

Thank you kopes. I was outside for ages watching these little guys have a bath in our sprinkler. There was about honeyeaters all up. Was so cute
