extremely scarce pop light P5 LTD 351 (landau but a 4 door version) with all power options, FMX and 9 inch disc rear. Factory everything
i had one of those viewmont, it was 1974 model LTD (gold, bone leather)
also I had 73 landau (same colour)
(both in the eighties)
they didnt actually make a 4 door landau, did they?

My dad had an old LTD, 1973 maybe, dark green with leather top, funny headlights, I think they had covers that opened when you turned them on or something. It was my favorite car to drive, massive V8 but quiet as a mouse. I remember wondering why all the other cars were driving so slowly and then realising I was doing well over the speed limit in it but it was so quiet and drove so well you just didnt notice you were going so fast.
I'd love to have one today, probably couldnt afford to run it though.

i had a 72 fairlane for a short period too, 302 V8 (l love those old tanks) traded it for a XY GS Van (302 windsor) wish i still had it! electric blue, 4 on the floor and fats all round.
out of the top of the line 350 statesman which competed with them, i would want the 2 door landau back, didnt give you that sinking back into the seat feeling from the power like the statesman, but so much classier

hmm, might of confused viewmont's wording
i think they introduced a coupe body shape with LTD options and called it a landau, less of them were made which makes 'em more scarce
