What Collection Do You Still Have?

The phone in topic on the breakfast show this morning was collections you had as a kid or teenager that you still have. One caller still had his complete Smurf collection in a cupboard that he didn't want his kids to know about. A Mum called in to say her 39yo son still has his Kinder surprise collection from when he was a teenager or younger. I still have my sons matchbox car collection.

80000+ stawka??? wow! you must have shelves full of albums,like i do with family pics! 

i guess that could be considered an accidental collection,lol! somehow i ended up with most of my and my hubby's family photos,6 shelves of albums. they're displacing my BOOKS!!!

Sineater--make sure you write on the back of the photos-the names of the folk in the pics.

Helps others in the future to know -whos who.

My old photos are in a box in the wardrobe--nothing else but books in and on

the 15 bookcases i have...in a 1 bedroom flat.............................Richo.

richo,i'm very lucky that many of them have that info already,including last names,for hubby's stuff. i've been driving MY family bonkers trying to get last names on everything,and how they are related,lol! 

and there are a TON of pics on both sides that are really old,and no one knows who they are. those i've been thinking about selling, since i know there are people who collect old pics and don't care WHO it is. 🙂

we have some of the tintype,i think it's called,those fascinate me,i think i'd keep them.

Been collecting since a teenager--now 67.

Have 2 bookcases just on books about collecting books..some very rare.

These were needed BC,,before computers--the puta has made it easy for folk these days.

2 bookcases on the local area--Gippsland Victoria.

Others are just-----collectable books...........................................Richo.

ps -have 40 cartons stored at my daughters and a storeage shed as well lol.

awesome! but...what do you like to READ? if i may ask? besides the local books,i mean? i have several of those too,about wichita,and about my hometown in new england. and cape cod,too!

Gippsland.........we went on vacation at Tidal River back in '57...........the next year we moved back to the US.
