I realised yesterday, that while I like minced beef I know very few recipes for it:
Spag bol
Stuffed capsicums
Meat loaf
Meatballs
Recipes, suggestions, and ideas are all welcome.
And, hello to those that still remember me 🙂 🙂 🙂

I hate to sound a bit hoity toity but I always use sliced fillet steak for a stroganoff.
One thing I like to do with mince is with the left overs from a spaggi bol. I usually freeze some of the bolognese sauce for later.
Rather than do the same thing with it, I like mixing it in with cooked pasta like macaroni or those little bow ones, top with grated cheese and bake it in the oven for a while.
It's more like a pasta bake than a spaggi bol then and the boys love it.

UFo, those eggs would look like UFO's in a lasagna.
Do most people put eggs in their recipe? I've never had it that way.
I use ricotta cheese in mine. I have a recipe that also cooks for about 5 hours, and probably has a sauce similar to your sauce. It has a ton of cheese and sour cream in it also. I rarely make it, because is it very rich and fattening.

Third attempt ...

Lealta ... what else did you put in the recipe?

This was my latest lasagne. It's made with ground beef and then topped with Italian hot sausage.

This recipe is southern Italian mainly from the island of Sicily. The northern Italians use ricotta cheese and bechamel sauce but we don't do that in the south. The northerners are influenced by French cooking. The original and the best tasting lasagnas in my opinion is the southern recipe. Whenever I make this everyone eats it fast, disappears very quickly LOL.
