What a drama!

So the rabbit has just raced in the house from the back yard faster than I have ever seen him run with this black thing running behind it. In the blur it looked like a panther!

It was a freaking cat!

I've just spent the last 20mins trying to make the terrified rabbit safe whilst trying to get this stray cat out of my house. I had to boot the cat to get him to move away from the rabbit. And then he wouldn't leave the house.

The rabbit refuses to come out of his hiding spot and my leg is bleeding from being clawed by this blooming cat.

What the heck! It's not like the rabbit is a tiny little thing that could be mistaken for a mouse.

Why can't people keep their stupid cats inside? I am sick to death of not being able to keep my own pets safe and secure in their own house because people allow their cats to roam during the day.

Has the bunny come out yet?

The cat from across the road is sitting on my front patio, facing the window. My dog is sitting on the inside, growling, with the hair standing up on his back. I have told him not to but he has this rumble in his throat....... I believe the cat knows he can't get out and does it on purpose.

Roasted rabbit is not very good as the meat is very dry to begin with and quite tough. So braising, or stews is a good move, some moist method of cookery.

Or a bunny rabbit terrine or meatloaf is always good.

Mince 900g of pork, 800g rabbit, 2 kg pork fat. Add 3 whole eggs, fried onion, pistachio nuts, seasoning, 200g diced prosciutto, truffles to colour and some truffle juice.

This is also a suitable recipe for cats, but substitute the prosciutto for ham and leave out the truffle.

Definitely not a recipe for those with high cholesterol or a problem with overweight. Not a meal to be upsized me thinks.

Do they make a lean cuisine dinner with rabbit ?

A thread that's even remotely interesting (i.e not political) gets an unusual level of attention :^O
