So the rabbit has just raced in the house from the back yard faster than I have ever seen him run with this black thing running behind it. In the blur it looked like a panther!
It was a freaking cat!
I've just spent the last 20mins trying to make the terrified rabbit safe whilst trying to get this stray cat out of my house. I had to boot the cat to get him to move away from the rabbit. And then he wouldn't leave the house.
The rabbit refuses to come out of his hiding spot and my leg is bleeding from being clawed by this blooming cat.
What the heck! It's not like the rabbit is a tiny little thing that could be mistaken for a mouse.
Why can't people keep their stupid cats inside? I am sick to death of not being able to keep my own pets safe and secure in their own house because people allow their cats to roam during the day.

I used to have a cat. He was with me for 17yrs. Loved him to bits.

Huh? What are the RT charactaristics that puts this thread in that league?
Other than it going around in circle, people getting attacked, others carrying on side conversations, the smart alecs, the experts, the victims, the talk of taking it to court etc...

I would have been too terrified of the bunny and the cat to do anything.........
I guess you had to be there......

Gosh brings back memories of the mad cat lady and my horror cat story that left me a lot of money out of pocket and with a scratched car. Months later we still have problems with her cats and there is little we can do about it. The woman's a cat hoarder it'll never change 😞
I'd have to buy a truck load of pepper to keep her cats away, does any one know how to stop them living under your house and ruining your outdoor furniture?? Not to mention trying to fight with my indoor cats through the window...*sigh* All I can say is I dread breeding season...

gee, who would have thought the whole thing would be dissected in such detail....of course everyone else would have dealt with it better:^O
would have been good if it went through the door straight away on first kick, so you could have quickly shut it out instead of hitting the wall
when people have an adrenaline rush on the spur of the moment they will do what is necessary to protect
I guess it gives new meaning to the saying "go home and kick the cat" lol
I remember when I was a kid, a passing dog on the street came into our yard and killed my pet rabbit....I was devastated:_|
if farmers around here have stray dogs venture onto their properties they don't hesitate to shoot and kill them. it is up to the pet owners to keep them on their own property

well post #139 is a blatant invitation... or perhaps provocation is a more appropriate word...
