My best recommendation would be to jump into a time machine and go back 35 years to buy the same ones I got then (no idea what brand).  They are still going strong and show no signs of wear or aging at all.  One of the best value for money purchases I have ever made.  I doubt I will ever need to replace them.

We bought them when we were on holiday in NZ (as you do!) and brought them back in our hand luggage.  It got quite a strange reaction going through customs LOL

Yes, the handles do get hot. My friend had non-stick scanpans but was less than impressed

Freddie, I  like Esteele, but I"m not sure that the quality is what it once was. We're still using a set from when we first married and it's like new. the newer non stick ones (same brand).. the non stick coating has started to wear a bit on the edges. I've not tried any of those "blue- stone' ones yet.

Thanks Bluey, Deb I will have a look at them. You wonder about the people doing reviews being insiders.Woman Mad

I also have a set of Bluestone Saucepans.

They are only a couple of years old.

You don't need to add oil, they are non stick.

But you do need to adjust your cooking methods

Some casserole type meals I have cooked in them,

Takes less time,  but rhe liquid reduces quicker.

And there are similar around but not as good.

My daughter bought a Firestone copy and its sticking

Already.

Three piece set with interchangeable lid

And does come in five piece.

Hotplate or oven I believe  but lost the

Manual and not game to put in oven
