What do you do if you get a parcel to your address but to the wrong person?

When you give it back to the post office do they send it to like a lost property section of parcels or contact the sender?

If the parcel has a return to sender address on it, they return it to sender. If it didn't, it goes to the lost property office. The sender can request a search for the parcel.

I agree with the others however if I was expecting a parcel and it seemed the right size, shape and weight and from the seller i had made my purchase I would contact the seller before returning it, just in case it was my parcel.
