in other words I see hate speech as racism or bigotry
So how do others define it?

that is what most politically motivated threads on here are posted for, to show their side is better than the other side.
do you class all of them as hate speech - or just those on the 'wrong' team?

It's not about teams, it's about hatred and racism.
I don't like either side using refugees as political fodder.
All the "boat people" would not fill the MCG seats. It's been blown out of all proportion.
They're not flooding in or taking over.

It would seem in the obsessive world of the above that you cant have an opinion that isnt theirs (or the posters above) because if you do its called hate speech. Seems that I am the personal target of the above obsession and their vendetta.
To me the above obsession with my posts is a form of HATE speech directed towards me and an unhealthy personal dispute and obsession with my opinion and posts by the poster. Border line cyber bullying or is it full on cyber bullying by the above poster/s?

and possibly encouages them to hurt themselves and/or other human beings
