Buys plain rice when you order chinese, well this one did :^O

Hubby asked how much it was I answer $6 then it click in I can buy a whole bag of rice for a couple of dollars. It's too easy just to make it.

Hey crys - I just went to Cost Cutters and got a whole heap of those bags of pre cooked rice that you just pop into the microwave for 90 seconds - 50c (Think they're about $3 in the stores)  each (says they feed 4 but realistically 2, maybe 3 - lots of different flavours, including jplain jasmine rice and a chinese stir fry one....

t'was an impulse buy, as it is way cheaper to buy a 15 kg bag and cook it yourslef, but this thread made me stock up LOL...

Never heard of Cost Cutters; 50c sounds good.  I get them from Aldi for a dollar something...Yummy!

They had heaps of good stuff this arvo!

Tins of cadbury drinking chocolate were $2 each

that tinned chicken for the kids school lunch were 70 c each (the 160g tins) and the tins of tuna were 40c each (just small ones for kiddy lunch)

got near on a whole trolley full of stuff for $64!
