What have you decided to continue as a tradition?

MARTIN and Mike Gray have sat on Santa's lap every year for the last 30 years as part of a family Christmas tradition they haven't given up.

As toddlers, teenagers and now fathers, Martin and Mike have continued the tradition together.

The brothers, from Massachusetts in the US, aged 30 and 34 now, said they get stared at, but they love doing it.

I actually like this story. There's a few things I continue to do simply it's just become a tradition not to.

WHat's a tradition that you've continued simply because it's become a novelty or something you decided you have to keep doing it so the tradition doesn't end.

Mine is usually Yellow Glen , Yellow

It used to be Dom Pรฉrignon or Moรซt

I am practicing reverse snobbery ๐Ÿ˜‰

And after the first couple of glasses it may as well be soda water, I like the bubbles ๐Ÿ™‚

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

What have you decided to continue as a tradition?

A Danish christmas on the eve of the 24th.

Roast duck with gravy, caramel potatoes and red cabbage. Ris a la mande with hot cherry sauce. The one that gets the whole almond in the dessert, receives a gift.

We have a real needle tree with live candles and hold hands dancing around the tree singing christmas carols and songs.

Then open presents one by one until 1 am.

Very cosy. Smiley Happy

My tradition is an anti tradition!
I grew up in a house where we had a roast EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY, roast lamb to be specific!
I refuse to cook a roast on Sunday!
I HATE lamb!

I think it's now a pretty set tradition that I will continue to make posts where the mods "value my cointributions".

"Mine is usually Yellow Glen , Yellow

I learnt the hard way that Yellowglen does not treat me kindly. Instantaneous, blinding migraine.

This was at an extremely snobbish "do", dinner jackets and gowns required, to welcome the new Chief Conductor of a major orchestra. Yellowglen was their major sponsor at the time. So, I'm sorry to say, it wouldn't count as reverse snobbery ๐Ÿ™‚ and you'll need to find something else ๐Ÿ˜›
