Life is when you came as a bundle of joy to your parent's life.

Life is getting that weekend trip with your partner ,while your kids are away.

Life is completing the marathon at the age of 60.

Your list seems to relate to human life. But life applies to all species. It is widely recognized that the main purpose of life is to reproduce and pass on knowledge. If there is a meaning to human life then clearly we haven't grasped it, given the way we treat each other, the other species and the planet. Personally I think humans are rare and precious, but capable of such incredible evil. Perhaps the meaning behind our existence is only known by Mother Nature. I sometimes wonder just how long she will tolerate us?
