What is the most dominate eye colour in your family?

I have green eyes..............and I am the only one in my family that does.

None of our children ...............or grand children have them.

But grey eyes seem to be quite dominate..................2 of our children have grey eyes............and 2 of our grand children do too.

Brown is  the dominate eye colour. I have brown as did both my parents. My children all have brown eyes as does their father and his parents.

My daughter married a man with very dark brown eyes, same as all of his family.....that resulted in 1 blue eyed child and 1 brown eyed child. We had no idea where they blue came from other than both parents must carry the blue eye gene.

Then my other daughter gave birth to a blue eyed child.....so the blue comes from our side way back?

And the blue is very blue.....both cousins have the same blue eyes 🙂 and neither are blond

i have hazel eyes

2 of my kids have blue eyes

and 1 of my kids has dark chocolate brown eyes

my fathers eyes are a greyish murky light brown

and my mothers eyes are medium brown with a greenish tinge

not sure about any grandparents as i never met them or saw pictures of them(they have all passed)

Blue, hubby has hazel eyes, eldest has brown, daughter has green/hazel, the rest have blue. All of my grandies have blue eyes.

By the time I realised it should have said dominant it was too late to correct.

My mother had blue eyes my father brown, have a brother and sister with brown eyes, a brother with grey eyes and I have green eyes.

I have two brown eyed children and one with blue eyes.

A brown eyed personal can throw a mutant blue eye gene.

I know a Chilean family that have a blue eyed child.

A mutant gene will dominate
