Adam's Ale.
It's cool and refreshing and keeps life turning.

Beer if it's near
Brandy if it's handy.
Seriously though:
Hot drink: coffee (not instant)
Cool drink: Bunbaberg diet ginger beer.
Long alcoholic: any good Margaret River cab/merlot
Short: Laphroaig single malt whisky

And if I am after something cold and fizzy, mineral water.

I like tea as well, and usually drink about a pot of it in the course of my day, but my Doc advises me it's dehydrating and I should drink more water.
I don't much like the herbal teas as a substitute.
I kind of like the robust taste of the Rooibos tea:

I drink Nerada tea. It's Australian and cheaper than most of the imports. And tastes good.
I support Australian businesses when I can.

Solo Lemon
Solo, "it's a man's drink. Light of fizz, so you can slam it damn fast!!!"
Ahh, was that ad for the solo soft drinks?! I must be macho then
And when my valencia orange tree starts producing, it'll be straight juice, none of this wussy mixing.

Coffee, black and strong. (In particular, Sulawesi Kalosi.)
Black teas such as Lapsang souchong, Russian Caravan blend, Melbourne Breakfast.
Green tea as long as it doesn't taste grassy. I particularly like Genmaicha sencha.
White tea such as Silver needles, whose delicate aroma I find very appealing.
Liqueurs - cherry liqueur, Grand Marnier, Advocaat (particularly in honour of my father), etc.
Romate Cardenal Cisneros Pedro Ximenez is irresistibly delicious (as I mentioned in your "Tell me your alcohol secrets, go on" thread).
Louis Roederer "Cristal" (but it's too expensive except when one is feeling completely reckless and has money to burp - I mean, burn). But dear heaven, that is a champagne.
Sodastream water.
Pepsi Max if it's a question of soft drink.
Red wine ... I agree with She*Elephant on the Margaret River front.

Freshly squeezed lime juice mixed with pure water and a little apple or mango juice over ice.
I don't drink often but when I do, occasionally a nice cold Pilsener larger or two on a hot day. Better while watching someone else frying up some steaks.
