I love Australian native plants/trees because they are so beautiful and feed and shelter the wildlife.....my favourites are bottlebrush and gum trees,
Foreign....gardenia maybe.

Yep Freshi-Australian plants and trees are great.
I have a liking for ferns--plenty here in Gippsland..................................Richo.

I like the ferns too, Richo. They soften the landscape and keep the soil shaded.
Everything works according to nature's needs.
My home is in a mini rainforest with a natural pond. No grass or foreign plants (I pulled them all out 15 years ago),.
I do not interfere with it in any way. It takes care of itself and is teeming with wildlife....birds, animals, reptiles..
The bushfire rating is the lowest possible because of what it is.

Plenty of ferns where I live in The Dandenongs...they really look beautiful amongst the tall mountain ash trees.
