Well I'm old now so I don't have to worry
About all the attention any more
But it was fun having the world in the
Palm of your hand
And you know what I mean ๐

What's the first thing you think of when you see someone with Red Hair?
I went to an all boys private school and was involved in many school plays in which an all girl private school was invited to participate.
At the tender age of 13 we would stay late after school painting backdrops and making props for the play in the art rooms.
On this particular evening, some of the girl school students joined us in the preparations and our art teacher had kindly curtained off an area for the girls to change out of uniform into painting clothes.
Well, I happened to walk past the area that had an opening on one side, not knowing what it was and saw a girl, to my surprise with only her underwear on.
Now as a young teen that had not yet had much interest in girls, shrugged it off yet found myself thinking about it for the rest of the evening. And thankful she didn't know I saw her, at least I didn't think she knew.
We had a productive night with perhaps 5 from our school and 4 for from the girl school as well as 2 art teachers partaking in preparations.
Being winter months it had become dark and we were all due to leave. I would normally catch a tram home which was fine.
The girl that I had seen, what I considered rather intimately, accidentally, was asking our art teacher where to catch the tram to her suburb.
And I was brought up a gentleman, you open doors, pull out chairs, stand up when a lady enter the room, so naturally I offered to walk Miss Kate to the tram stop even though it was in the opposite direction to my tram stop as it was dark.
Miss Kate was a slender girl with bright red hair and a pretty face. We made small talk as much as early teenagers could during our walk and I felt satisfied in my decision to escort her to safety.
We bid farewell and went our seperate ways.
The following week, another girl of the same private school was rehearsing at our school and sought me out to ask what had happened with Kate and I.
I explained that I had walked her to the tram stop.
She then told me, Kate had been telling everyone at their school that we were going out together.
I was surprised, flattered also I guess but couldn't understand where on earth Kate would have that idea from.
In which the fellow school girl replied, "Dont worry, she has done it before and no one believes her any more".
She didn't turn up at the final productions of the play and I never saw her again.
It was my introduction to a red haired girl and I shall never forget it.
I still feel sad for her, as I realized later in life, Miss Kate was probably a product of our society too quick to outcast something a little different, hence she was over compensating to just be normal.

All teenagers have fantasies
I knew a girl in primary school
Used to tell everyone she had a horse
She didn't
She had blonde hair
That didn't lead me to believe
That all blondes were liars

Loud, in-your-face, egotistical, boring, camera hogging, and self opinionated.
In other words, Chris Evans.

Quick, where's the sunscreen? Usually fair skinned - subject to sun burn.
Irish background? Temper?

Why do you say that Red heads have no soul? It has been mentioned a few times in this thread, but i dont know the reason why a red head wouldnt have a soul, as compared to any other hair colour.
My sister has red hair. Im pretty sure she has a soul (as well as a fiery temper at times LOL )
My family tree has quite a few red heads amongst it.... Irish ancestory.
