What's the go on here? :(

Are the Labor supporters so desperate on here that they have to report every post they feel is anti Labor. I know this is happening because I have been pm'd & it has also happened to me so it can't be ignored any longer with out someone standing up & telling everybody what's happening on here.

Just what are you all afraid of? we all have a right to post our opinions on here without being attacked by multiple bp'ing then sanctioned for a little trip to PNG.

This kind of activity is destroying this forum, driving posters away & scaring any newbie off.

Freedom to post on political threads without the personal attacks, negative snipes & then the pack attack reporting is what is happening. Being able to reply or defend oneself is now impossible without an attack.

Chin up all, we have 30 days of the election campaign & we should be able to post our opinions & articles without the spamming  partisan hatreds, I think we are all a little bit better than that aren't we?

I have no political thoughts one way or another - don't care enough to argue about it and know even less.

But I agree with you lightening, that is NOT a reason to report a post. You should report to the mod's and they will be able to see the culprit and take action if they deem the post was not in anyway abusive or in bad taste and was simply an opinion (which I always understood we were all entitled to).

Sure hope the lithium mob are not going to be as picky and non committal as the other lot were about posts.

You got to go to Papua New Guinea?

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

they need to restore the hover over feature. so you can know what a thread is about without having to open it.

i wouldn't have bothered with this one or any of the other political ones if i had of known

This post is not about any political thread posted it's about the right to post if you want to without being reported because you have an opinion.

I also agree the hover should be on here because there's not many posts I participate, they don't interest me but I don't go mad & report them.

There is a concerted few who band together to mass report people, how do I know this? because it happened to me & I have been told it happens to others.

Going by the speed of removal and the fact that chunks (large number of posts) can be removed at the one time and then some of those removed posts reinstated ..I think that the moderators are actively watching the boards more than the previous moderators did ?

I have been reticent to come back on here because I got reported & accused of having a different ID by some on here.

I have been staying away from the boards because the removal of posts is disruptive & I lose the gist of what was being discussed. I am a bit afraid of coming on here too, the  way a poster is attacked for their posts is like a blood sport & I feel sorry for the person who is copping it.

Thanks for the post, it should be brought out into the open & the reporters should be ashamed of themselves, they have ruined the forum.

The political threads can be very informative & should be a great place for a quick funny reply if you don't agree with the topic, that is so much more fun.

I would suggest that rather than getting interpersonal and making accusations against other members and complaints about the moderation company that people do query any post they may have removed .Perhaps people will them know what is and isn't OK ?

maybe some can learn from that ?

What I do know is that as some posts are returned ...they are being read prior to messages being sent.

1. Are the Labor supporters so desperate on here that they have to report every post they feel is anti Labor...

2. Freedom to post on political threads ...............

3. This post is not about any political thread posted it's about the right to post if you want to without being reported because you have an opinion.

Is 3. contradictory to the previous two statements?

Note: I have not reported any of your posts

I am a no party supporter (even though accused of being a Labor supporter frequently)
