What's with the name calling that's allowed around here?

I got an email from ebay for replying to a post in which someone called others something and I got threatened with banning from the boards..

My question is:  Why do some people call other people names like luvvies and get away with it but if I quote that post I get the email but the original post stays?

Just in general it seems some get away with constant name calling and attacks on others.

I agree AZ, it's unfair when ppl continue their name calling by creating new IDs

I've got heaps of them, Deb. I wonder if there is a limit to the number of IDs you can ignore. I remember Shane promising that ignoring one poster would automatically ignore all their IDs, but apparently not 😞
